I am sorry to say that Mr Linky and I have hit a rocky spot in our relationship, and have been unable to work it out as of yet. So for this month, please post pictures of what you receive on your blog as usual and we will need to use the blog list in the right column for links to the July swap pictures. If you are posting your pictures on our flickr group page, just let us know by leaving a comment on this post so we can view your pictures there. I can't wait to see what everyone made and received!

Wednesday Wrappings

I love this idea for summertime swap wrappings! There are so many ways to make it unique: Tuck  a flower seed packet or two into the grass, add flowers, bees, or ladybugs.
The bag should fit into a large bubble envelope for mailing. So cute!

I love these! You can download them here. These are sure to bring a smile! They are called Easter tags, but I think they could be used year round. You could add birthday candles to the top of the hat to resemble a cake or a phrase such as "to welcome your new doe"...the ideas abound!

This trendy oldie but goodie card (which I found in this etsy shop along with several other swoonworthy sewn cards) definately makes me smile! I love looking at the vintage campers that people have renovated on Pinterest. My family used to camp when I was young, and we had a few different campers through the years.  The last one my parents had was a cute little aque and white Scotty. Oh how I wish I had that today...

This silver-haired cutie is a stamp that I borrowed from my sister many moons ago. I stamped a bunch of the images on white paper to keep. I thought now was the time to dig her out and I paired her with one of my favorite saying stamps. Yet another that I can relate to!

I'm back to bug you...

...with another one of my tags. This one features a mason jar stamp from Red Lead and a cute little round fuzzy from Denami Designs. I enjoyed matching the bug colors with this fun piece of paper from my stash. I have a billions of googly eyeballs left over from Girl Scout leader days, and I am always thrilled when I actually get to use a few. But I must warn you about googly eyeballs- they have breeding habits very similar to the paper flowers in the glass jars. You can use what seems like hundreds, and the container is always full.

I never met a coffee stamp I didn't like. This one is another favorite. I hope it makes you smile!

my secret is out

I am a coffee lover. I wasn't always. I didn't start drinking coffee until I was in my mid thirties. I've been making up for lost time ever since! It keeps me company at my computer each morning at 5am-ish when the house is quiet and I am working on the swap or just browsing Pinterest. (I am often asked what I am doing up so early, and I tell them it is my favorite time of the day!) After about my 3rd cup, I am ready to face the rest of the family and my day. I also have just one cup each night right after dinner. It is my dessert. Each week on knitting night I treat myself to a nice venti sugar-free, skinny, vanilla latte. Oh so nice...
So today I share a bit of my favorite coffee humor with you. I just LOVE this stamp!

The theme for the July Swap is "Share a Smile". This month we will be swapping these 3 things:

1. a handmade card
2. a handmade tag
3. just a WEE BIT of purple craft destash

The card and tag can be for any occasion just as long as it is one that would make you smile: friendship, birthday, thinking of you, etc. If you've got a humorous stamp, saying or image that you've been itching to use, this is the month. And only the destash needs to be purple- your card/tag can be any color you wish.

There will be daily posts filled with lots fun cards & tags, as well as purple inspiration! And of course, there will be a Purple Givaway on June 15th. The "mail by" date for this swap is July 1st. Don't miss the fun- sign up now! Here's how:
