This is the beautiful sampler I received from the very talented Lorraine for the July swap. It is definitely a wow! I love everything about it. I especially love the colors and that crochet flower at the top. Great inspiration!

Make it Monday

I love these inspirational fabric flower embellishments. They come from this Etsy shop, which currently does not have any items up for sale. It looks like a great shop too, based on the adorable shop banner, so I'm going to keep my eye on it!
If you took a day and made a handful of fabric embellishments from your favorite scraps, you'd have some fun new things to choose from for your samplers. Inspirational!

Wednesday Wow

"Friends are the flowers in the garden of life", is the title the artist gives this lovely piece. It looks to be stitching done on paper, and I can envision this design on fabric as well. So summery and happy. Perfect!

How cute is this? And such a great idea! Just some french knots and maybe a few lazy daisies would do. I found the picture on Pinterest, and the link led me to this great site. I couldn't find the embroidered rick rack on the website, but I enjoyed my visit.
